What Are We Doing?

Mission organized by Global Image Foundation, Inc. and hosted at St. Luke's Hospital, Anua in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria with a focus on Surgical, Primary Care, and Dental services. Our established relationship with St. Luke’s Hospital, Anua-Uyo, allows for a collaboration: utilizing their facilities and various healthcare practitioners as well as affiliate hospitals if necessary, along with our traveling medical team. We aim to provide quality care and decrease the patient load while conducting several training sessions.

    What Do You Need To Know?

    Work Dates: Monday, May 27, 2019 - Friday, May 31, 2019
    Work Hours: 8am - 8pm daily
    Flight Dates: Arrive in Lagos, Nigeria Saturday, May 25, 2019
    Airports: Lagos - Murtala Muhammed International (LOS)
    Cost: Participants are responsible for international flight (Estimated price $700 - $1,500 depending on point of departure and stops), and Visa fees as applicable. Local transportation, lodging, and food will be provided free of charge for our travel team.
    Leadership: This team is led by Dr. Mfonobong Essiet (Global Image Foundation, Inc.), Dr. Joseph Ekpenyong (Chief Medical Director of St. Luke's Hospital), and Dr. Nitin Shah, Chief of the Surgical Intensive Care Unit at Long Beach VA Medical Center and Professor of Anesthesiology and Critical Care at Loma Linda University in California, USA who has been involved in organizing 78 successful International Medical and/or Surgical Missions in various countries including India, Zambia, Kenya, South Africa, Jamaica, etc.
